Meet the Staff

Dr. John Billen, Ed.D., M.A.

Owner/Director/Team Leader

Dr. John Billen is an elementary school principal and has been in education for over 25 years.  He has a master's and doctorate degree in school administration and educational leadership respectively.  He holds an elementary teaching certificate, special education certificate, principal & supervisor certificate as well as a school superintendent certificate. His experiences include teacher, assistant principal and principal.  His philosophy in educating students mirrors the mission statement. He believes in promoting self confidence to allow kids to reach their full potential.  He has coached High School Boy’s Lacrosse (5 years), Middle School Boy’s Basketball (3 years), Flag Football (Gr. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, HS), Boy’s Lacrosse Gr. 2 & 3 and Girl's Lacrosse Gr. 2.  He has also served MYAA (Medford Youth Athletic Association) in several capacities including a Flag Football Division Commissioner (Gr. 6, 7, 8) and as a Medford Basketball Grade Level Commissioner (Gr. 4, 5, 6) , Rec Basketball Commissioner (2 years), Basketball Commissioner (4 years) and is currently the Flag Football Commissioner.  His love of sports and helping kids improve their skills and confidence is evident through his coaching and volunteer roles in the Medford Sports Community.

Mr. Joe Sulock has been elementary school teacher for over 29 years.  He has experience in multiple grade levels and has thoroughly enjoyed each of his experiences.  Mr. Sulock coached his daughters in soccer for many year sand served as the Vice President of the Delanco Youth Soccer Association.  Joe also has experience playing street hockey.  He is knowledgeable in many other sports as well.  More importantly, Joe sees the potential in every child to learn and grow.  He firmly believes that a positive attitude and encouraging words are the best motivators for students (and athletes).  He asks children to push themselves to be their best every day, just as he pushes himself.  Joe studies martial arts, and is an avid camper, hiker and outdoorsmen.  Joe has been a Team Leader with Nitro1 Sports from the beginning.  He teaches soccer, street hockey and flag football to all age campers.  He continues to be a favorite coach of the campers that attend Nitro1 Sports sessions each year. 

Ms. Beth Pulaski has a Master's Degree in Education.  She is a Level 2 Crossfit Trainer and a 200 hour registered Yoga Teacher.  She has also served as Co-Commissioner of the MYAA Track and Field Program.  Beth has been working with young athletes for over 20 years, coaching various sports, including track and field, basketball and weightlifting.  Beth espouses the same beliefs as the Nitro1 Sports Mission Statement.  She always emphasizes sportsmanship and teamwork and helps kids develop self-confidence through encouragement and positive interactions.  She understands the importance of physical fitness and works hard to instill a love of playing and being active in kids.  Outside of coaching, Beth enjoys running, lifting weights, and playing any sport with her three boys.  Beth also owns Beth Pulaski Photography and serves as Nitro1 Sports Photographer.  She continues to be a valuable asset to the staff and campers at Nitro1 Sports!

Ms. Becca Worrell is the newest member to the Nitro1 Sports Staff!  Becca is a Medford Township native and also a current Medford Township Elementary School Teacher with a Master's Degree in Education.   She has a wealth of experience with a variety of different sports, at various levels, including volleyball, lacrosse, soccer, basketball and swimming.  She has also been part of many competitive sports teams at various levels throughout her life.  Becca has played volleyball at the club and collegiate level.  While Becca has always been deeply involved with the township youth sports programs, she still maintains a strong passion for fitness and health and loves to inspire kids to find their passion in this as well! Becca will be coaching campers in volleyball and lacrosse as a Nitro1 Team Leader.  Most importantly, Becca's encouragement, positive attitude, and passion will be a great fit for the campers who attend Nitro1 Sessions!

Mr. Michael Weiss has been an Elementary School Physical Education Teacher or over 20 years. Michael has coached high school baseball, youth travel baseball, and most recently youth flag football in the MYAA Flag Football League.  Sports have always played an important role his life.  Michael played baseball for Gloucester County College, where he was a part of two World Series Teams.  Michael finished his college career playing baseball at Montclair State University where he won the NJAC All-Conference Award.  Michael has always had a passion for teaching and coaching.  His philosophy is to create a positive environment and encourage kids to try their best.  Michael is entering his second year at Nitro1 Sports and teaches baseball, flag football and basketball.  He loves introducing new sports and playing concepts, helping kids improve, and most importantly watching them have fun.  He has been an asset to the Nitro1 Staff and Campers and continues to be a staff favorite among campers!

Mr. Frank Bonner

Team Leader

Mr. Frank Bonner is a retired Police Lieutenant, with 28 years of lacrosse coaching experience.  Frank started playing lacrosse for Cherry Hill West, continued at Widener University and has played for numerous semi-professional box lacrosse teams in the US and Canada.  Coach Bonner also played for the first Puerto Rican National Lacrosse Team.  He is currently the offensive coordinator for the Puerto Rico Under 20 National Team competing in the Lacrosse World Games in Ireland.  Frank has coached many youth programs, Cherry Hill, Marlton, Mt. Laurel, Medford and Gloucester Township, and multiple inner city teams in Philadelphia as well as co-founding the South Jersey Boys Lacrosse League.   He has also coached for the South Jersey Shamrocks and currently coaches the 2027 Jersey Express Team, which recently qualified for the World Series of Youth Lacrosse.  Coach Bonner prides himself in having developing hundreds of players in South Jersey with a positive attitude and sense of humor.  "I get the most satisfaction when a young player learns a new skill and smiles while doing so." Frank is also the proud father of Gabriel and Mia and is the newest member to the Nitro1 Sports Team!
